Zineb Abbad El Andaloussi

Zineb Abbad El Andaloussi joined Helios in 2017 as a Partner on the Investment Team, bringing over two decades of experience in investment banking and corporate advisory across Europe and Africa. Before joining Helios, Zineb was Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division at Rothschild in Paris, where she played a key role in European M&A transactions across Financial Services, Telecom, and Consumer Goods.

From 2006 to 2013, Zineb helped establish Rothschild’s M&A advisory franchise in Morocco and Francophone Africa, culminating in her appointment as Head of Africa. She later launched her own corporate advisory boutique and continued to serve Rothschild as a Senior Adviser. Zineb has worked on mandates across a wide variety of sectors, reflecting her depth of expertise in cross-border transactions and strategic advisory. She currently serves as a non-executive director on the boards of Banque Centrale Populaire and CACEIS, Crédit Agricole’s asset servicing banking group. A graduate of École Centrale Paris with a major in Economics, Zineb is fluent in French and Arabic and holds dual French and Moroccan nationality.

Zineb is passionate about Helios’ investment approach, which combines the rigor of developed world investment strategies with the adaptability needed to succeed in Africa’s dynamic markets. She believes in the power of operational excellence to drive value and is particularly excited about the underpenetrated opportunities in Francophone Africa, where the growing population and increasing connectivity are creating unprecedented growth potential.

Born and raised in Morocco, Africa is both her home and her inspiration. Zineb is proud to contribute to the continent’s transformation by supporting businesses that are shaping its future.
