Tavraj Banga brings 20 years of investment experience spanning developed and emerging markets across a diverse range of industries, including renewable energy, waste management, transport, financial services, real estate, and technology. Prior to joining Helios in 2019, he was at Terra Firma a global private equity firm. He began his career as an M&A investment banker in New York, focusing on cross-border transactions. Tavraj holds a BSc in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Joseph Wharton scholar.
Tavraj enjoys what he does, and does what he enjoys – thriving on the opportunity to scale businesses that have an inherent link between profits and climate impact. Outside of work, Tavraj is an avid golfer. When he’s not on the course, he enjoys the NYT crossword.
