In December 2016, Helios acquired an interest in Oando Gas and Power, the midstream subsidiary of Oando PLC. The business, which has since been rebranded Axxela, was the pioneer developer of Nigeria’s foremost natural gas distribution network and has grown to become the largest private sector gas distributor in Nigeria.
