Mr. North has ~19 years of relevant experience across Africa and Europe. He is a former consultant at McKinsey & Co, where he served clients in energy, agriculture, recycling, mobility, and manufacturing. Before McKinsey, he led USAID’s Power Africa Transaction Reform program in Kenya, working to unlock a large-scale energy access & renewables pipeline. At Standard Bank, Africa’s largest bank, he was the pan-African Head, Energy & Infrastructure (Advisory) within the investment banking team. He holds an MBA from Saïd Business School (University of Oxford), as well as B.Sc. (Mathematics) and B.Com. (Hons) (Actuarial Science) degrees from University of Pretoria.
